Looking for an experienced Sr. PS Functional Consultant with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in client facing role.
The Sr. PS Functional Consultant will work in a user facing role doing discovery, training, process analysis, providing recommendations and options for team consideration etc.
·         Significant experience in SAP with Expertise in Project Systems (PS) Module.
·         Expertise in Project Accounting and Project Cost Management
·         Experience in Global Professional Services and Support.
·         Experience gathering requirements for integrating SAP PS with other ERP packages for project management data
·         Experienced in Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
·         Familiar with the onsite/offshore development model.

Purpose of Position:

The position is responsible for the analysis, selection, development, architectural design and purposeful execution of and integration of in-store information technology and related process. 

This role works in broad cross-functional partnership, particularly Operations, Marketing and external vendors, to define and deliver retail technology solutions in our stores. These tasks require a collaborative, hands-on orientation, organizational thought leadership, and application of an architectural mindset to continually drive operational excellence and execution for our corporate and franchise stores. 

This role also works with partner teams within the Information Technology to define and implement an overall Information Technology architecture and road map to deliver consumer engagement solutions, reporting solutions, IT solutions, and data management solutions that drive business growth.

Day-to-Day Accountabilities:

·         Actively engage with internal business partners to develop business and technical requirements that deliver high quality systems, products, and/or processes for the enterprise and franchisees.                                                                       

·         Architect and manage integration of POS and Back office with other in store and above store software products,

·         Provide technical and thought leadership and expertise on system architecture, application integration and development initiatives. Participate heavily in the design, architecture, testing and implementation of application software and enterprise integration, and ensure that systems and applications follow the SDLC standard.

·         Maintain standards and processes for system and applications architecture, configuration and documentation.

·         Prioritize enhancement requests based on business imperatives and input from key stakeholders.

·         Ensure project deliverables are completed, with quality, in a timely manner.


·         Bachelor degree with concentration in Information Technology or business or equivalent additional (2 years) experience is required.

·         Minimum of 5 or more years of progressive, relevant IT experience.

·         Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Point of Sale (POS), Back-Office, and other in-restaurant systems.

·         Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Integrations to Micros Simphony Point of Sale (POS)

·         Minimum of 3 years of quick service restaurant or retail working experience with strong retail technology solution management.

·         Experience in managing and architecting integration of transactional data from point of sale to other downstream applications

·         Experience implementing systems and processes, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment.

·         Proven experience gathering information from business partners and developing solid business requirements for technical vendors.

·         Strong and successful management of outsourced vendor relationships with terrific negotiation skills.

·         Experience developing and managing contracts to ensure vendor adherence to service level agreements.

The ability to translate functional specifications into high-performance technical designs and code. Provide code reviews to assess overall code quality and flexibility, and the application of good object-orientated programming techniques.

Experience working the cloud based infrastructure, a plus

Ability to help define technical and architecture strategy for their team by working with other technology leaders across the organization

Experience with a service oriented architecture
